I’ve always been skeptical of awards, so when a friend suggested that I start one, I reflexively said “no.”
“It’s not about you,” he countered. “It’s about your readers.”
As in, a readers’ choice award.
That made sense. I trust you, the readers of this site, to tell me which company has the best customer service. So last month I asked some of my underwriters if they agreed, and they did, too.
The result: this year’s Readers’ Choice awards.
For 2018, we’re going big. We have three exciting new categories and sponsorship from Allianz Travel Insurance, Boingo, Enterprise, Generali Global Assistance (formerly CSA Travel Protection), Insuremyrentalcar.com and Southwest Airlines.
In fact, if you take the poll now you could win an annual Boingo account just for participating.
I hope you’ll consider weighing in with your recommendations. The results will be broadcast via an audio media tour, a press release, and of course I’ll be writing about them in all of my outlets. After all, who wouldn’t want to know about the best companies to do business with in 2018?
Again, here’s the page where you can weigh in. Your vote will really make a difference and guide hundreds of thousands of consumers as they make their 2018 purchases.
